Bobbie Peterson brings more than 25 years of business management and business development experience to her leadership role with Medsphere. In previous senior and executive leadership roles with CSC, McKesson, RTI International and other firms, she led successful efforts garnering over $500 million in federal technology, healthcare IT and biomedical research contracts. Bobbie’s technical solution development acumen in the emerging areas of electronic health records, clinical decision support and open source technology has created value for federal clients including the Department of Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services and the Department of Defense. Her commitment to healthcare IT is evidenced by participation in the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), the Open Source Electronic Health Record Agent (OSEHRA) and the American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC). Bobbie is a graduate of The George Washington University’s masters program in Information Systems Technology Management, and she is recognized as both a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS).
