University of Victoria/EHRchitects
A collaborative venture between the School of Health Information Science at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, and BC-based EHRchitects, the UVic EHR Educational Portal (www.cehrnet.com) project is focused on creating a gateway to showcase the research and education into electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) technology that is ongoing at the university. On the individual level, the project allows students and practitioners to remotely access and interact with real EMR software anywhere and at any time. Medsphere's OpenVista solution is one of the systems made available through the UVic EHR Educational Portal.
