'Stage 6 Hospitals'
In 2005 the Health Information Management and Systems Society Analytics organization introduced the Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model as a means of measuring the progress of individual hospitals on the path to comprehensive health IT adoption and a paperless environment. In 2008 Medsphere customer partner Midland Memorial Hospital was recognized as one of the first eleven HIMSS Analytics Stage 6 hospitals.
