Medsphere understands the importance of protecting the confidentiality of personal information and is committed as an organization to meeting this important goal. Medsphere’s mobile healthcare provider applications, specifically Mobile OpenVista Enterprise (MOVE), enable secure access to our client’s OpenVista electronic health record system, so it is essential that we define our policies and practices related to maintaining that confidentiality.
Medsphere’s Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy focuses on how Medsphere Systems Corporation’s (“Medsphere”) mobile applications for providers (our “Applications”) use, store and transmit information and data. By using our Applications to connect with a healthcare provider organization, you are consenting to this Privacy Policy and any subsequent modifications, which Medsphere reserves the right to create at any time after it is initially posted. Use of our Applications is governed by the application’s End User License Agreement.
Medsphere Does Not Share Personal Information or Data
As mentioned, Medsphere Applications connect with systems operated and maintained by healthcare organizations that are clients of Medsphere. Medsphere collects user information necessary to register, log in and use our Applications. Medsphere does not share any of that information with any external party or organization.
Connections to Healthcare Institutions
Use of Medsphere Applications requires an account with a healthcare organization using Medsphere’s OpenVista EHR. User access to Medsphere Applications within a healthcare organization may be determined by that organization’s policies and terms. While connected with or attempting to connect with a healthcare organization’s system, that organization may acquire, disseminate and otherwise use certain data and information related to your usage of your device, system and application software; this data and information may include peripherals, as well as your personal information and location, and other content.

HOW MEDSPHERE SAFEGUARDS PERSONAL INFORMATION
Medsphere takes all precautions necessary to secure the personal information and data of users while accessing our Applications. This is a crucial responsibility and we recognize its importance. Medsphere Applications employ technical safeguards—Transport Layer Security (TLS)/Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate technology, encryption—that protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal information.
