CareVue is a fully-integrated system that supports all enterprise clinical services in a single database. CareVue is patient-centered and supports the continuum of care, including inpatient and affiliated outpatient settings. The CareVue system comprises foundational applications that support clinical and nutritional services, including a multi-functional patient chart; laboratory, pharmacy and radiology applications; health information management functions; a nutrition and food service module; multi-disciplinary treatment planning for behavioral health; and an interface suite to ensure complete patient data.
We chose CareVue because it gives us the functionality and clinical support we need at a price point that makes sense for a hospital investing in all areas of the organization. Some of the better known solutions don’t make sense because the costs are not justifiable when compared with CareVue.

Across the Continuum
Medsphere’s CareVue is installed in acute care hospitals ranging from a 476-bed urban facility to a 10-bed critical access facility in rural New Mexico. All eligible acute care clients have met Meaningful Use requirements and received 100 percent federal reimbursement. CareVue offers adaptability and flexibility that few fully functional EHRs can match.
We needed to find a healthcare IT company that could meet the needs of large and small organizations. The subscription-based payment model they offer for acute and ambulatory facilities helps us keep costs down and conserve funds that are crucial to getting a new healthcare facility on its feet.
