You’ve probably seen them – billboards posting how long the wait time is at your local Emergency Department. But how exactly does that work? With one hospital, it started with a quick call to Wellsoft.

Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center reached out to their Wellsoft account representative with a challenge and a sense of urgency for helping them figure out how to get their wait time posted on a digital billboard. As their Emergency Department EHR provider, we were able to supply them with an output file from our side, then coordinate with their IT department and the billboard/marketing company…and voila! Within 2 weeks from initial contact, the billboard was live!
