Wellsoft expedites implementation to meet the needs of small rural community hospital in New Mexico.

Somerset, NJ – May 16, 2018 – Wellsoft Corporation, a Best in KLAS award-winning EHR provider for Emergency Departments, is pleased to announce that Holy Cross Hospital in Taos, New Mexico has successfully implemented Wellsoft EDIS in its Emergency Department. Wellsoft was able to meet the needs of the hospital by completing an accelerated implementation in 60 days, enabling them to go live with both a new Hospital Information System and Wellsoft’s Emergency Department solution on the same day in a true big bang approach.

Holy Cross Hospital is a small 25-bed rural community-owned hospital that manages care for more than 16,000 Emergency Department (ED) patients each year. The hospital recently received a Five-Star rating for overall quality from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, placing it in the top ten percent of hospitals nationwide to earn this recognition. As part of its commitment to provide the best possible care, the hospital embarked on an effort to upgrade the tools and technology it used to treat its patients. This involved upgrading to a new hospital EHR and Emergency Department EHR, replacing their previous systems with state-of-the-art solutions that would better benefit the small hospital and its community of patients.

Holy Cross Hospital selected Wellsoft EDIS for its Emergency Department because of its reputation and high ratings for client support, rapid implementation capabilities, integration expertise and comprehensive one-click documentation.
