Somerset, NJ – February 9, 2011 – Wellsoft Corporation announced today that Ridgeview Medical Center’s Two Twelve Medical Plaza is live with Wellsoft’s Emergency Department Information System (EDIS). This is the second emergency department in Ridgeview Medical Center’s health care system to implement Wellsoft EDIS. Two Twelve Medical Center will manage care for an estimated 20,000 ED patients each year.

Two Twelve Medical Center, located in Chaska, Minnesota, opened February, 2011. Two Twelve Medical Center offers 24/7 emergency and urgent care, comprehensive family and specialty care, advanced diagnostics and access to leading physicians and clinics. The emergency department at Two Twelve is staffed by Emergency Physicians & Consultants, P.A, which practice at Ridgeview Medical Center, as well as pediatric emergency department physicians from Children’s Hospitals and Clinics.

The installation of Wellsoft’s state of the art EDIS supports the health system’s goal of continuity of care across the health care network. Wellsoft’s award winning EDIS is tightly integrated into the ED workflow at both Ridgeview Medical Center and Two Twelve Medical Center. Features implemented include Patient Tracking, CPOE, Clinical Documentation, Drug/Drug and Drug/Allergy Interaction Checking and Medication Reconciliation among other features.
